Terms & Conditions
By registering on any Play Act program, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all our terms and conditions prior to your children attending with us. They can be found on our website at https://playact.ie/terms-and-conditions/.
Please note that by enrolling your child for PLAYACT weekly workshops and/or after-school clubs you are agreeing to, and bound by, our terms and conditions as laid out in this document.
1) We expect all our team, students, and families to follow the Golden Rule to ensure we provide a great experience for all. I.E. - we treat others how we'd like to be treated.
2) You agree to be 100% responsible for payments for your children's attendance.
3) The program reserves the right to remove any overly or unreasonably disruptive child or parent from the program, with or without a full refund, depending on the circumstances.
4) We do not offer make-up classes or partial refunds for classes missed unless it is PlayAct who cancels a class.
4A) If we cancel a class because of circumstances outside of our control we will do our best to make this up online or at the venue but we will not refund for this issue which happened outside of our control such as a storm, snow etc.
4B) If YOU cancel a class / camp or cannot attend for any reason including your child being sick - refunds are not offered when it is 10 days to start date. The reason for this is because we cannot fill this place.
It is at the discretion of PlayAct to offer any credit your account.
5) We will be taking photo's and video recordings of our programs throughout the year. On occasion we use these for promotion work. We do not use students names, the or specific school/ venue names.
6) All LIVE online sessions are recorded for training, health and safety and insurance purposes. And deleted after 6 weeks.
7) If in-person classes are cancelled because of Covid, storm, snow etc. related we will resume online.
8) Fees for classes and camps are non-transferable and non-refundable.
9) PlayAct Drama School will communicate with parents via our broadcast whatts app group. Our camp community parents will be communicated to via Manage System on Class4Kids.
10) The onus is on parents to keep their details up to date.
11) YOU must disclose information which you deem to be relevant for your child's wellbeing.
12) We have a monthly newsletter. We would encourage all parents to sign up. This is where we host offers, camps, etc.
13) If you are sick and cannot come to class or camp. You will not be offered a refund.
14) If you are in one of our after school clubs you are agreeing to allow us to collect your child from their class/yard etc. Whatever is agreed with said school.
15) Your child will automatically be enrolled for term 2 & 3 unless you email us saying they will not be returning. We need 3 weeks’ notice minimum.
